What will you create next?
Back for its second year and bigger than ever, The Pinterest Manifestival returned to the Croisette in 2024 with a bold new footprint and a mission to scale both creativity and impact. As brand activations at Cannes Lions became increasingly crowded, we doubled down on what set our experience apart: joyful, hands-on world-building inspired by the people who use the platform every day.
The newly expanded structure—our largest yet—was crowned with giant, vibrant Pin-shaped frames that gave the build iconic visibility while inviting guests to explore what lay within.
Bold, chromatic photography wrapped the pier structures, while immersive Pin grid style photo murals turned the space into a living Pin feed. Everything inside was designed to feel tactile, inspiring, and unmistakably Pinterest.
An audience brought to life
Once again, we looked to our Gen Z audience for inspiration. For this generation, creativity isn’t a rare gift but a daily practice—remixing, customising, and playfully adapting ideas is every bit as meaningful as inventing from scratch.
This year’s Pinterest Manifestival brought that spirit to life. Our art direction team collaborated with Gen Z 3D artist @ginnijoie for a 2024 interpretation of the brand identity, then transformed her vibrant work into oversized sculptural pieces that defined the space. The result was a world that invited play and experimentation—designed to be made your own.
Artist-Led Creativity - Everywhere
From marble-dipped Crocs to upcycled vintage football jerseys turned into totes, the space was alive with one-of-a-kind creations. A Charm Bar gave people a moment for quiet personal creation and featured lip balm customisation thanks to an integration with e.l.f. Cosmetics. And in our Analog Print Studio, guests could personalise accessories and put their literal stamp on the experience.

Showcasing Pinterest’s new Collage feature, this interactive portrait studio let guests create surreal, graphically illustrated headshots with artist Jasmin Sehra —then take home a printed version of their creation.

Personal Colour Lab
In partnership with colour theory experts, attendees discovered their personal palette and left with inspiration—and tools—to dress more them.

Original Pinterest Tattoo Parlour
Back again, with a glow-up. This year, our beachfront tattoo parlour got it’s own identity and was housed in a dedicated structure by the ocean, offering Pinterest-inspired tattoos and a queue that never let up.
